The best part is that anyone can make it in just a few minutes. You simply mix a fried egg into a bowl of hot rice, add a splash of soy sauce, and stir everything together. The warmth of the rice slightly cooks the egg, creating a creamy texture. Some people also like to have it with roasted seaweed or kimchi.

Ingredients:

1 bowl of warm cooked rice (80g)

1 egg

½ tbsp soy sauce

½ tbsp sesame oil

½ tbsp sesame seeds

roasted seaweed, kimchi (optional)

 

 

 

Instructions:

 

1. Cook the rice If you don’t have cooked rice ready, make a fresh batch. Warm rice works best.

 

 

 

2. Fry the egg Cook the egg sunny-side up for a runny yolk.

 

 

 

3. Assemble the dish Place the fried egg on the top of the warm rice.

 

 

 

4. Season it Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the egg and rice, then sprinkle sesame seeds.

 

 

 

 

 

5. Mix well Stir everything together roughly and quickly before eating.
